MyPerfectBottle believes that an important element of our relationship with our members is their trust that we will respect the privacy and confidentiality of information about them.  In recognition of our commitment to keep member information secure and confidential, MyPerfectBottle has established the following privacy policy:

To ensure that your order is processed in a timely fashion, please review the following information:

The Buyer assumes title to the alcohol beverages upon purchase and all responsibility for shipment of any alcohol beverages purchased. By placing this mail order with My Perfect Bottle for the alcohol beverages, the Buyer is responsible for hiring a common carrier which includes FedEx and UPS and authorizes My Perfect Bottle to release Buyer’s purchase to the common carrier at My Perfect Bottle licensed premises. Buyer hereby acknowledges and agrees that My Perfect Bottle does not make any representation or warranty with respect to compliance with Florida law or any state law regarding this transaction. Buyer assumes all liability and risk of loss associated with Buyer’s purchase. Buyer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol beverages and any other merchandise purchased, including without limitation, the determination of the legality of the shipment and any tax consequences as a result of this purchase.

Shipping & Delivery:

We are currently only able to ship beverage alcohol to any business or residence in Florida.

If the items you order are available they will be shipped by the following business day. Orders placed from Thursday through Sunday may be held until the following Monday or until conditions permit.

Legal Age Requirement: 

Products which contain alcohol may be sold and delivered only to a person who is at least 21 years old. By virtue of your order with My Perfect Bottle you represent to us that you are at least 21 years old and the person to whom any products which contain alcohol will be delivered is also 21 years old. You authorize My Perfect Bottle to use your billing and shipping information to conduct age verification via a secure commercial database. At the time of delivery, any shipment containing alcohol will require the signature of an adult possessing valid picture identification issued by a government agency proving he or she is at least 21 years old.

Preventing Underage Purchases: 

AN ADULT SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED BY LAW FOR ALL DELIVERIES!

If no one is available to receive the package, a subsequent attempt to deliver will be made. We encourage you to use a commercial business address such as your office to assure the fastest delivery time. If subsequent attempts are unsuccessful, your order will be returned to My Perfect Bottle. An additional fee will apply to reship undeliverable packages.

My Perfect Bottle recognizes and complies with all federal, state, and local laws regarding sale of alcohol to minors. All shipments require an adult signature; proof of age will be verified by delivery carrier. No deliveries will be made to a visibly intoxicated person.

Vintage Substitution:

On occasion the chosen vintage of a wine will sell out or be replaced by a new release after your order is placed. In such cases, My Perfect Bottle will notify you to substitute with a comparable vintage

Returns or Exchanges: 

We take great pride in our reputation for quality and excellent value. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with a purchase, we’ll assist you with a prompt refund or exchange.

In the event that you cancel an order or a shipment is refused or undeliverable, the product will be returned to inventory and credit issued on the customer’s card, less any shipping and handling charges, and a 20% restocking fee. Please check your order carefully before paying for your order.

During summer & winter months, spoilage in transit is NOT covered, EVEN if you had elected 2 Day, Overnight shipping, or have the wine insured. Shipments are only covered for loss, theft, or breakage during shipping or due to delays in delivery for the unattended recipients.

Please make sure that when ordering our products you are home at the time of the delivery to avoid extra time in warehouses and do not return the goods unless instructed by us and retain the goods and packaging until the carrier has had an opportunity to review them.

Information Collection

For each registered user, we collect the consumer’s screen name, e-mail address, IP address, country of residence, age and zip code. The information we collect is used to customize the content and/or layout of our page for each individual visitor and used by us to contact users regarding their account. This information is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes without user consent.

Unregistered users may use the portions of the MyPerfectBottle site that do not require registration. The IP addresses of these users are stored.

We may ask you for personally-identifying information if you enter into a promotion, post a classified ad, communicate with us, or complete a survey.  If you opt-in to receive information regarding a promotion, you give us your permission to share your name and e-mail address with the third party offering the promotion.

Cookies

As part of our service, we use cookies to store and sometimes track information about you.  A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive.  Generally, we use cookies to remind us who you are and enable us to access your account information so you do not have to reenter it; gather statistical information about usage by registered or unregistered users, research visiting patterns, and help target advertisements based on user interests; assist our retail partners track visits and process orders; and track progress and participation in promotions. The Way We Use Information

Information collected will be utilized to optimally operate the Site.  We may also use your personally-identifying information to improve our marketing and promotional efforts, to statistically analyze site usage, to improve our content and product offerings and to customize our site’s content, layout, and services.

You will always have the option of not permitting the use of your personal information by not using particular services for which the information is collected or shared.

We may use your information to deliver information to you that, in some cases, is targeted to your interests, such as targeted banners, new services and promotions.  You can opt out of receiving this information.  We may ask you to provide us voluntarily with additional information regarding your personal or business interests, experience or requests, which we may use to customize our service for you.]

We use your e-mail address, your mailing address, and phone number to contact you regarding administrative notices, new product offerings and communications relevant to your use of the site.  We will not send you promotions or announcements unless you give us permission to do so.  You can opt out of receiving such contact by so indicating in your registration/preferences file.

If you place a request for products or services, we use information to ship your order; if the products or services are from a retail partner, we may provide your relevant information to that retailer for purposes of the transaction.  If you establish a credit account with us or our providers, we collect additional information, including billing information, credit card number and expiration date, and tracking information from checks or money orders.

We may also use or disclose information to resolve disputes, investigate problems, or enforce our User Agreement.  At times, we may review status or activity of multiple users to do so.  We may disclose or access information whenever we believe in good faith that the law so requires or if we otherwise consider it necessary to do so to maintain service and improve our products and services.

Information Sharing with Third Parties

MyPerfectBottle does not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our individual Members to any affiliate or any nonaffiliated third party other than as permitted by law.  MyPerfectBottle will not sell Member lists or personal information about our Members to any third parties without their consent.  However, from time to time, we share the non-personal information including information regarding your MyPerfectBottle friends and wish list that we collect from you with third parties from one or more of the following categories:

  • Retailers.
  • Wineries.

In addition, we automatically gather general statistical information about our Web site and visitors, such as IP addresses, browsers, pages viewed, number of visitors, goods and services purchased, etc., but in doing so we do not reference you by individual name, e-mail address, home address, or telephone number.  We use this data in the aggregate to determine how much our customers use parts of our site so we can improve our site.  We may provide this statistical information to third parties, but when we do so we do not provide personally-identifying information without your permission.  We also use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to manage our Web site and to enhance our site based on the usage pattern data we receive.

Security

MyPerfectBottle will honor its Members’ expectations of privacy by safeguarding information we receive about you whether it’s received by mail, telephone, electronically, or in person.  We employ reasonable and current security methods to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure correct use of information.

Your account information and profile are password-protected.  We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone.  Our personnel will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited e-mail.  Remember to sign out of your account and close your browser window when you have finished your session.  This is to help ensure that others cannot access your personal information and correspondence if you share a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place where others may have access to it.

Whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online–for example on message boards, through e-mail or in chat areas–that information can be collected and used by others.

No data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.  As a result, while we try to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.

Children Use

We have no way of distinguishing the age of individuals who access our Web site, and so we carry out the same Privacy Policy for individuals of all ages.  If a child has provided us with personally-identifying information without parental or guardian consent, the parent or guardian should contact us to remove the information and opt out of promotional opportunities.

Third Party Practices

The Privacy Policy of an advertiser or promotional service appearing at our site may differ from ours. We encourage you to read that policy before responding to the offer.

Changes to Privacy Policy

From time to time, My Perfect Bottle will update its privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and we will use for these new purposes only data collected from the time of the policy change forward. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our Web site periodically.

Accessing and Changing Your Account Information

Registered users can review the personal information they provided to My Perfect Bottle and make any desired changes to the information at any time by logging in to their account and editing the information on the account settings page. They can also close their account by contacting My Perfect Bottle through the contact us page. Users may export their reviews and ratings data at any time using the tools provided by My Perfect Bottle.

Your Consent

By using our Web site, you consent to the collection and use of this information in the manner described above.

Editorial Policy

The content of My Perfect Bottle’s emails is chosen completely at the discretion of the My Perfect Bottle Editorial Team. No one can pay to change the opinions written in a My Perfect Bottle email. Selling our editorial content would destroy the legitimacy, integrity, and fun of My Perfect Bottle emails and would ruin the trust between My Perfect Bottle and its users. On occasion we will send out “sponsored” emails on behalf of wine organizations that have something special to offer the My Perfect Bottle community, these emails will be marked as sponsored.

Email Opt Out

Registered users who have elected to receive My Perfect Bottle’s daily email about wine deals, winemaking regions, offers from My Perfect Bottle about trusted affiliates, and more, can choose to opt-out at any time by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any daily email.
